Veteran Hockey Player Shoots & Scores for UC

After being sidelined from his career due to the painful symptoms of ulcerative colitis in 2007, NHL player Fernando Pisani returned to the ice following an effective treatment plan that helped control his symptoms. Through In the Zone for UC, Fernando scored for patients during the 2008-2009 hockey season. Every point resulted in a $5,000 contribution to the Foundation from Centocor Ortho Biotech.
