In addition to meeting the requirements outlined in the job descriptions, all volunteers must:

  • Be at least 19-yrs-old (or 18 for sites with Junior Counselors);
  • Demonstrate empathy for the physical and psychosocial aspects of IBD;
  • Be interviewed and selected by the Camp Director;
  • Submit all of the required paperwork by the specified deadlines;
  • Pass Criminal Background Check, Sex Offender Check, and Reference Checks;
  • Attend entire Staff Orientation (dates vary by site; typically day before camp and one other weekend day prior to camp);
  • Stay entire duration of camp (dates vary by site, see camp calendar);
  • Abide by all of the rules and policies of CCFA and the host site.

TO APPLY: Go to the job descriptions page to confirm your eligibility and qualifications, and then click on the application link beneath the position you are interested in seeking.
